“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”
~ 1 Timothy 4:1 & 2
I am here to show my concern for the carrying away of my Brothers and Sisters by demonic forces. The Bible states that their departure will be amplified in the latter days. We have had the last three generations depressed and oppressed by the fatal hand of the enemy. Some may be saying, Is he talking about Sinners or Saints?” Well, pull up a chair, get a cup of coffee and let’s talk about it.
Notice, the Bible says that they will depart from the faith because they gave heed to seducing spirits and doctrine of devils. The “Faith” Paul is talking about, is a specific faith that has been established and ordained by God, through Jesus Christ. What was so alluring that these people would leave that kind of faith to follow those kinds of spirits. Demonic spirits have always been underestimated, until they bring down the so-called greatest of Christians.
I know that we should not sin, but the fact is no Christian is able to say that since they have been saved they have not sinned. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Shameful as it is, we don’t want to admit to anybody that we were tempted and fell for the temptation. Now what we don’t ever want to do is begin trying to measure how big or small our sin is because the Bible states that all of our unrighteousness is Sin.
