Mel Moore

Minister Mel Moore hails from the small town of Darlington, South Carolina Home of Nascar. He is the son of Rev. James & 1st Lady Vivis Moore. Min. Mel grew up in a Christian home where he was very active in church. He has sung on the children’s choir, was youth President, Usher, Acolyte, a member of the UMC Council on Youth.

Minister Moore is a 2003 graduate of Mayo High School for Math Science & Technology where he graduated with honors. He matriculated at Claflin University and Grand Canyon University to pursue a degree in the Educational Field.

Minister Moore has a heart, passion and love for children and at risk youth. He has been in the Education field since 2005. During this time he was an Elementary teacher, the Director of the Empower Zone Afterschool program, a Senior Administrator for 3 years of ATCOM Christian School and is currently serving as Assistant Director of Lighthouse Christian School Arlington Campus in Jacksonville, FL.

Minister Mel Moore accepted Christ as his Personal Savior at a young age and re-dedicated his life back to Christ in 2012. Minister Moore was licensed to Preach the Gospel to Youth in December 2013. Currently Minister Mel serves as the Youth Minister, and Director of Arts & Worship at New Mount Olive Church of Jacksonville, under the leadership of Pastor Ernest L. Taylor. Minister Moore is the proud founder of the Moving Towards Greater Movement which is a Youth Movement to rally youth to get Crunk for Christ in a radical way.

Minister Mel Moore is also the CEO and Owner of MPM Enterprise a company that specializes in Event Planning, Marketing, Promoting, Mentoring, Hair Supply and Home Health.

Minister Mel Moore is truly a Man of God with a heart of loyalty and dedication to serve this generation of youth. He lives by the Scripture: “No Weapons formed against me shall prosper.”
