Apostle Derian A. House

“I feel that my purpose is to help individuals to come
to a place of salvation and holy living as a lifestyle
that also spills over into our natural lives that
will bring success.”

Derian House was an affectionate, creative boy whose search for love and meaning began early in life, amid the languid, sultry charms of Georgia and Florida. You see, life at home did not always match what his father preached on Sundays, for theirs was a house of secrets. The dark clouds of family life hovered over young Derian and served only to deepen his conflicted, wounded heart. And then, at the age of seventeen, a very nice man befriended Derian, and seduced him! From that day forward, Derian found himself in a death-grip vice from which he would not escape for decades to come. It was the down-low lifestyle. However, Derian’s thirst for God proved stronger than ‘the lifestyle.’ Thus, he entered the fight-ring … fought the greatest battle of his life … and won! This is the chilling, unforgettable story of the anointed Apostle, Derian A. House; beloved preacher, beloved Man of God. His book is raw and in-your-face real!

Bishop Derian A. House is the Founder and Pastor of Alabaster Box Christian Ministries in Pensacola, FL. The church was previously started in 2007, but has recently re-opened in October 2010 with about 10 members. The church is comprised of an innovative and youthful body of believers purposed to “empower lives with honesty, love, and the word.”

He accepted his call to the ministry at the age of 18; however, he has been actively pursuing it within the last six years. In his spiritual journey, he endured a major loss of his 19-month-old daughter Monicia and deliverance from homosexuality and perversion that posed a threat to achieving his divine purpose.
