Kimanni was born in Washington, DC. She is the youngest of three children. By age 2, her strong personality and independence was recognized. Her flair for fashion began and never stopped. Continuous honor student, Kimanni began designing at the age of 7. By the age of 9, Kimanni had created a brief business plan along with an outline of her dream of becoming an International fashion designer. Along with accomplishing this dream, Kimanni also been determined to end world hunger. At age 11, Kimanni was the Student Secretary/Personal Assistant of M.A.D.E, My Attitude Determines Everything, a non-profit that tutors and mentors the youth of DC, Maryland and Virginia.

At age 12, Kimanni began to birth her dream. Kimanni Kouture was founded in January 2013. Kimanni Kouture is a reflection of who Kimanni is…Creative, Happy, Full of Personality, Focused, and Strong. Kimanni Kouture is created for the everyday girl as well as the girl who dares to be different. Kimanni Kouture caters to sizes 4-16, as well as offering specialty sizes/services upon request. Kimanni does her own designing and production of her brand.

The Kimanni Kouture brand has been showcased in a total of 5 fashion events in 2013. Kimanni is booked throughout 2014 as a featured designer. In 2013, Kimanni showcased her brand in 5 fashion events. Kimanni is booked to showcase her fashions in several fashion events for 2014. One of the events is her very own production that will be held in April 2014, Kimanni Kouture: “Light It Up Blue” Autism Awareness Charity Fashion Show that is to benefit the Marcus Autism Center for Kids.
